The owner Eric showed up on time and diagnosed the capacitor failure right. He quoted me 189$ plus tax for a single capacitor change job. This was not right as when I did check the value of the dual capacitors and the maximum that i found was 40$ when he was quoting me a 109$. I confronted him with this information and then he changed his rate and completed the job for 150$. This gentleman called and asked what I thought was wrong with his unit over the phone. I said it was probably a compressor capacitor ($109). After diagnosing system, it was a fan capacitor that had failed. This capacitor was part of a "dual" capacitor with compressor cap and fan cap together. I said it was $189 installed. I'm giving 5 stars but it really has to do with the repair/serviceman. Tim was upfront, honest, very knowledgeable and he personally didn't try to sell me something that I didn't need. He worked diligently on my rooftop AC unit to make sure all was well. He could have come down off the roof and told me I "needed" a bunch of things done and he didn't. I'm not sure if the owner or other servicemen would have done the same. I will be using this company again but only if Tim is the one that would be doing the work.

We were beyond happy with the service that was provided by this company. The response was very prompt and the gentleman went above and beyond the call of duty with the job. The cost was much lower than I would have expected given the time he spent not just doing the spring tune up but the time he spent explaining and providing information. Very professional! We will be calling Patriot Air again.
