RecommendedI have worked at Parkridge East for 8 years in the ICU, and many caring and exceptional nurses work there. I found out firsthand how great the whole team is last month when I had and MI and brain bleed while working. My work mate, Sherry, found me down outside a patient room and activated the code team and Dr. England and Dr. Barclays, as well as the ER and nursing/tech staff responded. They saved my life. Recommended RecommendedI have to give a big shout out to the staff at parkridge. I was taken by ambulance to the ER early in the wee hours Thursday March 12th. I was having a heart attack. My wife says I coded in the cath lab, and was taken to surgery. I was in surgery for about 6 hours. I had a triple bypass and a mitral valve repair. Recommendedmy husband had a heart attack on March 11 Wednesday night about 10 and this is where they took him. If I had a thank you note for everyone there i would give it to all. We couldn't have asked for better care . Treated us like royalty. Thank you so much .Don and Macky Mills
Don't drug a patient presented with medication adverse effects and a ptsd espisode with restraints when she is quiet except when being forced, against her will, take her blood against her will, take her urine against her will, nurse torturing her by rubbing her knuckles on her chest until screaming in pain, don't nearly pull her arm out of her socket while putting her in restraints, cut her clothes off and make her leave in a hospital blanket with temps in the 30's.
RecommendedI have had a few encounters at Parkridge East Hospital as patient now. I had a surgical procedure today. The process was ideal. The staff was welcoming and very professional. They made sure I was informed on everything that was taking place. They were very quick to respond to my needs. I am afraid of needles and the nurse who started mine was comforting and did a great job. I can’t say with enough words how pleased I am with my visit!
RecommendedVisit to ER on 02/04/2020. Bleeding of unknown origin, no pain. Saw me quickly, did usual tests plus CT scans. Referred to specialist for next day. Always well treated at this hospital and usually short waiting times.
RecommendedVery big shoutout to L&D nurses Shelby, Kelsie, Rachael & Hannah. Best group of nurses to ever walk the halls! They were my emotional support the three days I was there.
brought my son here cause he got hit in the head with the door at school and he was started to fall asleep and they didn't even care made us sit in the lobby. I thought when u had a head injury that was important I guess not at this hospital.
