Think twice about having your baby born there mothers. If your baby has any little complication your baby probably will not be discharged for at least three weeks. Something very strange going on there. Maybe need to keep the numbers up so your baby will be held captive. Wants the deal palms west????? And by the way my brother in law who was here visited had to be admitted BAD experience for him?! Don't go to palm wests peps. Head to wellington regional or Smmc.
Maybe if they had a conversation with their patients they would be able to properly treat them. Total lack of communication on all fronts.
Never take any one you care about to this establishment
My 9 yr old son was recently in Palms West Picu/Peds for 16 days. While he was in PICU, we had two separate incidents with two different nurses who were callous and rude to both my family and more importantly, my son. That being said, I'd rather focus on all the people who were wonderful to him and helped facilitate his healing. I had giving birth to my son Jaxon Tuesday March 15th 2016. The nurses I had were BEYOND amazing!! Christy & Erin. Without their comfort and love it wouldn't have gone so smooth!!! Thank you guys, your awesome!
Labor and Delivery RNs were phenomonal professionals. However, after transfer to the second floor my daughter and grandson received very poor care. A nurse stated "I will do whatever I have to to avoid giving your baby the fake stuff", meaning formula. His blood sugar bottomed out, you could smell acetone on the babies breath after 2 days and his weight plummeted, and she said don't worry it is no big deal. Her no formula agenda was against the families wishes and put the baby at risk. Billing Reps coming into the hospital r... read more
I have been here since 5:30 and have yet to see a doctor! They do not act like there is any rush to see patients!! I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!! It is now 10:02pm.
Worst experience ever! After the Drs kept forgetting to put orders for me to see a surgeon, one finally came and just to afterwards tell me i couldnt be taken care of until later on in the week! I left and will never go back to this hospital nor take my child there!
I gave birth to my baby girl via c-section this past Tuesday March 1st and I couldn't be happier for choosing Palms West Hospital. Every single nurse and professional that cared for us had a smile on their face. They were all extremely professional, listened to our concerns, our requests, and truly made us feel like they were only taking care of us and nobody else even though the hospital was extremely busy. I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your exceptional service. Especially, L&D nurses Claudia,... read more
