There emergency room isn't thorough they give you very little medical attention, not bothering to do the tests needed to determine the cause your issue, instead they do very minimal and send you away just to end up admitted at another hospital

As posted on the FB page, my daughter went to the emergency room with her 18 month old son because he couldn't breathe. He was treated. She then received a large invoice from the hospital because they wouldn't accept a firefighter's insurance. My daughter is divorced and is now on a single income. She explained it to them in a very long form she had to fill out. Today they said they will not accept her because she made to much money. Don't go to this incompetent hospital! Took a family member who was a type 1 diabetic to the ER for possible DKA.. Her blood glucose level was 424 upon arrival. 9 hours later in ER, 420. They did nothing. Just ran fluids. Which ran dry and weren't rehung for three hours. She was vomiting the entire time there. They did nothing. All they did was give her something to stop the nausea. Went in through the ER and stayed for 5 days-From the ER to the nurses and doctors to the food service and cafeteria, was the by far the best experience I've ever had in a hospital. Everyone is so professional, so caring, and extend themselves beyond what is required to ensure you are comfortable and treated. I'm so grateful to everyone at Palm West Hospital and a special thank you to Dr. Decker.
The staff on the 3rd floor are amazing! They made me feel comfortable in my time of hurt. Nobody likes going to the hospital,especially me but they made me feel like a human being,not just a test subject, I would like to specially thank ed, Sam, and Brendan who were my nurses and the rest of the staff on floor 3. Very professional
I absolutely love Palms West Pediatrics. I was just there for 5 days and they definitely help make a stressful situation as comfortable for us as possible. I truly appreciated all the smiles, detailed knowledge and constant care everyone gave to my son. Bigg hug and an even bigger THANK YOU!
Went to visit my sister yesterday. Ill make it clear its not that i didnt like the hospital but one of the nurse was very rude showed no compassion towards my sister. And most of all we didnt get the answers we needed from anyone. So we walked out the hospital and drove 70 miles back home give or take a mile. But will return on friday hopefully will get our answers bout our sister. And hopefully the nurses on duty that day will show a little more respect.
I really like this hospital so far the best one in west palm beach for pediatric! Thanks
