Worst vacation to date! 1st off we got put in a room next to a "party suite" so we got to complain about the noise every night. FUN! right? Then the hot water was gone. EXCELLENT! of course... and to top it off after bringing my concerns up to the front desk management "you can move to a lower floor" WOW! thanks, that sounds like fun on my vacation. Pack up and move to the same room on a different floor. With so many choices in Vegas the Palms will NEVER be our destination again. In a world where good service usually is a to... read more

My husband and I are Las Vegas locals and stayed here for one night for our anniversary last week. When we checked in we were told they would hold a $250 deposit instead of the normal $50 deposit BECAUSE WE ARE LOCALS! On top of that upon looking at our bank account not only did they hold the $250 deposit but they also held the normal $50 deposit that guests from out of state are charged. There are several other hotels that treat locals better and we will choose to go with them next time.

We stayed in the hotel for 2 days to celebrate my boyfriends 40th birthday and they didn't give us the room we booked. We wanted king bed, smoking with jetted tub and got a non smoking instead. The furniture was chipped and the room smelled. We definitely enjoyed the jetted tub but overall the room was not what I expected.

The room was ok- after we had an engineer come up and fix the heat that was going full blast. The noise and smoke on the first floor was inescapable. The Chinese restaurant is awesome, the rest of the food is mediocre. I've stayed in worse places, but I would try somewhere else if I came to Las Vegas again.
