Just popped in to play a little. Won some and then left. A good time.
Was there for a business trip, booked at The Palms more out of location to my office in Vegas. Wasn't the worst placed I've ever stayed in town but not the best. Desk person (and it was Asst Mgr) seemed to be annoyed to assist me. The description of the room I booked on Expedia and room I got was different but I was exhausted and room was adequate to what my perception was. Room service food was disgusting. My steak "thing" was nothing but gristle and I tossed it in the paper bag it came in and went downstairs and got frozen... read more
Beautiful room on the 31st floor, maids were awesome. Fantastic view. Very clean. Pool was lovely, the 21+ and over days were great. and the Ghost Bar was gorgeous.
From the front desk, restaurant hosts and servers to the management this has been an amazing stay. Our room is stylish and with a view right across the Playboy Penthouse. We have our own "private" elevator and again, with views of the pool and strip. Great food, and heck there's even a movie theater here. Super clean and friendly all around best stay!
If I could give this hotel no stars I would. My first time in Vegas, everybody dreams of this day, Seeing the strip, the casinos, getting drunk, and overall having a good time. My husband and I had planned a stay at the palms casino and resort, with seeing one or two shows, as well as attending the legendary defcon. Beautiful was their for grand opening. Whe. They first opened for FUN!!!!!!
I was excited to come to the Palms for the first time. Come in to the room, and hair on the tub, floor and dust. Ok, no big deal right? A simple call to front desk will fix it.. Nope. Not even an I'm sorry for the inconvenience . While room service tried to come in "clean" while we left to the pool. The same hair is still in the tub! The hair from the person who was in the room before us! Gross! That lets me know the crew did not even bother to put Clorox to disinfect ! Next time I'll book another hotel.
