I own a 2016 Ram 2500. I signed up because I know if I have a major breakdown it can be expensive. So on 6.10.25 my truck transmission went out. I had it delivered to a shop that takes OxCarCare. After submitting the report it took 14 days to get an answer if my truck would be covered. Report came back and denied my claim because of the following reasons. My membership 4/08/23 Superior 75 coverage . $177.58 mo for Ox Car Care a 75 senior. That's $2486.12 you owe me noneservice. In July 2024 I was forced into the medium by two individuals racing down a very busy St, however this was at 1:40 am during the week. After they passed I leaped on the other side. From the repair facility side this extended warranty company leaves much to be desired. The VAST majority of extended warranty companies that we have worked with over the years will provide credit card payment in 24hrs or less. Except for Ox Couldn't Care! It took 21 days from the time a signed, finalized repair order was submitted to receive payment. ** promised to pay $7500 per break down. In April I took car to repair facility do to engine light. Repair facility said , need new engine. Filled claim with Ox Car Care. It took Ox THREE weeks to approve the repair. Then they only authorized $3600 for a $600 repair. Once repair was completed ** delayed payment for an additional THREE weeks. My car was left in the shop. The shop charged $30/day storage after waiting two weeks. After 8 weeks, ** has NOT paid the pre-authorized amount. OX refuses to cover the $30/day storage. ... read more
