Great experience. Easy sign up process and great costumer service. They lowered my property tax assessment and I didnt have to do anything!

I have a large "No Soliciting" sign at my front door, yet one of Ownwell's solicitors left a huge door hanger ad on my door. I left a negative review because of the blatant disregard for a homeowner's wishes to not be respected, and only ***** min later, a fake ****** user (no contributions, no other reviews, with a gibberish name) left a 1-star, no context review on my small business.I have only a few clients and I know it wasn't any of them, nor have I had any other interactions with anyone else recently, so it's no coinci... read more

I followed up with a phone call to apologize and to also learn more about the 1 star review she claims was possibly left by someone at Ownwell. I received the Ownwell mail today and I was immediately surprised to read an offer for business from a company without a listed address. I had to come here to discover that they are in ****** *****. It could be difficult for me to come to their office to discuss a problem. I live in Long Island, ********.But now that I read the multiple complaints, I have an advice for Ownwell. Change your name for a more honest name. I propose "OWNWELL?"

I received a letter from Ownwell that was made to look like an official document from the assessor. The letter contained so many errors and false info it was laughable. I left feedback on their site about the letter and did receive a request for to detail what was wrong when I sent back a detailed explanation I received no further repsonse.
I got mail from Ownwell on 2/3/2024. I threw the mail out after finding this review.
The property tax appraisal on my property went up 50%. After I contracted with Ownwell, I noticed that my neighbors tax appraisal stayed the same, so I was looking forward to a great savings. Ownwell only got it reduced 10%. To add insult to injury, they charged me based on what my savings would have been based on the previous years tax rates, which were this years rates, even though the *** on their website said they would charge based on ACTUAL savings.
It is good and reduced the price of the property.
I am very pleased with their work and results by saving me on my appraisal home value, thank you so much Ownwell!
