came in looking for a cheaper phone service than we already have. was talked into a "amazing" deal that would give us better phones plus one for our child for around the same price we already pay. they transferred our old phones over and being it was after 7pm they told us to come back tomorrow so it could be finalized (we walked out of Walmart that night with 3 new phones and our old phones deactivated). the next day they told us the bill would be over $110 more a month than originally quoted! the sales associate we dealt w... read more
the personnel. have had multiple times that i have needed assistance in the phone section at the olean ny walmart #2159 store. The 1st instance was a couple of months ago when our home was totally destoyed by fire and I went to Walmart to get a new phone. A gentleman by the name of Johnathan Helmes stayed over to help me get all that i needed. They hire the most unprofessional staff that do not care about anything up the money they shove in their pockets. We were looking to purchase 4 iphones from them and unfortunately to purchase at a promo rate we were forced to deal with them. The first representative said he was a manager that oversees "three stores". he was the most argument man. He stated he had the phones, but then could not find them anywhere in the store. I worked hard for this company every day to be fired during the covid while on leave. I been waiting on unemployment for 6 months while on leave and have 3 daughters to provide for. The general manager had a drug issue and was trying to get rid of me before covid because he talks to people disrespectfuly . OSL is one of the worst companies that I have ever had the displeasure of working for. To start things off they make you use your personal phone for everything. You'll be made to download 5 apps developed by different companies. One of them is a group messaging app that never stops buzzing even if you’re not working.
