Heaven help you if you take an ambulance from one of their facilities to another and then need to get back to your car. The only reason to go to OSF St. Joes is if your kids are in a hurry for your life insurance policy.💀
Was in 4 different rooms in the 7 days there. Family & friends walked into the wrong rooms because of this, which was very embarrassing for them. Not enough choices on the menu, although the food was good & hot. Always had trash on the floor since patient doesn't have a garbage can. Was in the ER for over 7 hours. Not impressed with ER cubicle. Like being in a closet, no TV to pass the time.
We received the best care possible for my daughter! She went in with appendicitis yesterday and they realized she was supposed to graduate from IWU today. She had her surgery yesterday evening and she was able to attend her graduation at 1:00 today! Everyone was friendly and gave her great care!
Sat there 4 hours with my elderly sick mother. Elderly people should take priority. A elderly man brought in an ambulance was left sitting in a hospital gown in a wheel chair joined us in the lobby. Disgusting priorities! We were told we had to wait a half hour after pain medicine was administered. Waited 40 minutes and began walking out. The nurse is chasing us out the door, continues to argue with me that we can't leave to come back to the room so she can present discharge papers to us.
