RecommendedI have been both on the receiving end of care at OSF and now I give care here. I was in a bad MVA in 2000. The ICU and floor nurses are what inspired me to be a nurse. I use OSF for my care and so does most of my family.
Dr's show more compassion for patients, and don't act like you are afraid that you might get some disease if you actually touch a Black person or person of color. Telling it like it is!
your decent and caring staff in the hospital saved my life many years ago, but the occupational health office I've dealt with since this past May is rude, uncaring, disrespectful and unprofessional. I'll stay away this time and will never recommend again.
My father was recently hospitalized and was treated poorly by some staff. They went through his stuff and packed his belongings without being asked. There was a code red and lights going off to signal a fire and they shut my father’s door,mind you the possible fire was on the second floor and they completely shut my father’s door and he was on the third floor. Fighting a bill that is 400-500% higher than normal for 2 x-rays! I ask to talk to the person in charge at the hospital.. "we don't have one, when it comes to billing" Really? I could of had two MRI's done. Also, blood work was $780 at OSF compared to $190 somewhere else. Will never go back.
