The doctors may know how to do surgery, but the office staff seems not to know how to file an insurance claim in a timely fashion.
My wheelchair bound 90 year old mother in law was 10 minutes late to her appointment and they made her reschedule. No sympathy for how hard it is to get a 90 year old with back pain to an appointment in the middle of winter. New appointment 3 weeks from now. So 3 more weeks of pain.
RecommendedI'm not easily impressed, especially since I've worked in and been a visitor in many hospitals. This place blew my mind! very clean everywhere! All of the staff that I interacted, minus 1, were fabulous. I know that the hospital was pretty full, however I'd never known that from the way I was treated. If I used the call button, it was promptly answered, and the staff was quick to be to my room. And the hospital food? It didn't exist. They use a "room service " type deal. On the first visit to the ER it was quick and proficient with great staff running a good operation (different doctor that day). On the second SCHEDULED visit we sat in the waiting room for 1:25 mins without anyone offering any apologies or information about how behind schedule they were. When I inquired at the front desk how much longer they shared that “Dr Barros is running behind schedule”. Yes, I realized that 1 hour and 25 mins ago. If you are running more then an hour late common courtesy would be to inform those waitin... read more
