I had a perfectly good mortgage with another provider. And a great credit score. Flagstar took over my mortgage (obviously, I had no choice). But their website is a joke and I literally have had no success setting up autopay on it. They cant explain it. On top of that, they keep hitting me up for odd charges and not crediting my account properly...and I have now paid MORE than my monthly mortgage should be. I have never seen such poor business practices. A year and over 40 hours on the phone in an attempt to receive funds from an insurance claim. Documents continually "not received" or archived and unable to locate. You can not get a supervisor on the phone when working with Loss Draft and Customer Service sends you to ask for a Supervisor in Loss Draft. One department approves the funds release, and the next department denies based on the exact same documents the first group had to approve with. You are sent back to the first ... read more

While attempting to get my house fixed due to wind damage i had to deal with their Loss department and after sending all of the appropriate paperwork to close the claim i was told that i went over a specific ammount according to the paperwork i sent and that the paperwork was also incorrect. I had to have my insurance company call them to confirm i sent the correct paperwork, it took several hours before they would admit that they misread the documents before they again tried to claim that they needed the correct paperwork a... read more

Customer service is a joke and their communication is even worse. Gotta love these corporate companies with nothing but automated lines and customer service reps who read from a script. If I could give zero stars I would!!!!

We have owned more than 10 homes around the country. Flagstar is acting like a used car dealer on the southside of Atlanta. Pure bate and switch tactics.
