Extremely unethical business practices. Read the complaints and company responses. Cards are issued even when the company (ATT) in my case promised a check. Website on back of card does not list https:// in front of address, so when someone attempts to log on, website does not load, unless they know to type that in front of url listed on card. I received a card in the mail from my son school with $50 on it. I had $250 in my cash app but because my card had been compromised I could not take it out. I added this one onto cash app and added my 250 onto the card. Usually if it is a prepaid card or not able to make deposits youre not even able to add the card onto any of the money service apps it wouldnt even go through but this company not only let it go through but then would not let me take it out. I used the one star because it was the lowest one. I received a card from this company instead of a refund for overpayment to my DIRECTV account. I was not able to deposit my money into my bank account. I had to jump through hoops in order to get my money from this company. I have never had to work this hard just to get what was owed to me. This company wanted to control how I could spend my own money.
This is, hands down, the WORST experience I've ever had with a business. And that includes **** and ******** both of which are ridiculous. I received a Northlane card from **** to reimburse me for an accidental overpayment I made through online banking. I have tried since OCTOBER 2022 to have this money transferred from the card back to the checking account. EVERY TIME, it tells me I can't do it. They hate you and they want you to know it. Everything they do, they do incredibly poorly. Their website looks ancient, is very slow (when it's working at all), and altogether unhelpful. Transactions frequently get declined, ostensibly due to 'suspicious activity'. This happens to me frequently, and customer service is either unable or unwilling to be of any real help. Terrible. Closed my ******* account and instead of getting a check for the amount I overpaid in my last bill cycle, got a prepaid card from North Lane (now rebranded as Onbe). Very confusing terms and services on thee accompanying letter - with a typo in the sentence that was supposed to explain exactly when and how one might be charged a $3.50 monthly fee for having an activated card with them.... which again, was not a debit/credit line I chose to open, but A REFUND FOR A BILL OVERPAYMENT with a different company (*******)... read more
I was issued an honorarium of $50. via ************ card by an online survey company. It was declined. One of worst businesses ever. Everything doesnt work on their website. Not even the forget password function without going through a 3 hour experience with customer care. I have never disliked a businesses as much.
