I had a great experience today. I felt they cared even though I had a wait. Doctor and nurse took time and let me explain what was wrong. They checked on me and I felt liked they were concerned about me. It was slow at times, but not unpleasant. I would not chose to be here, but thankful for their attentiveness to me.
Checked in 1 1/2 hr early and already moving through the system. Spent many years/hours at the OKC VA and have found it to be a positive experience as a whole. Thank you for being there for us!
I love the VA in Oklahoma City, love all my DR"s I receive great care. It's also the patients responsible to do what the DR. Says, like a smoker being upset because they get COPD, I give all our staff at Okc VA a big high five!!!!
I wasn't there but to hear that a former student from school, who served his country, has an appt., told 2hrs. Later he must reschedule it is shameful. After what he's been through (hell) even if it's a minor headache to you - - he drove there for Help!!
Came in with knee pain/ discomfort and all they want to do is give me a shot and send me out the door. Told me I don't have arthritis but yet arthritis is what the va has already diagnosed me with and is why I get 10% at the moment. I don't think I'll ever come back to the Va er again if I'm gonna be treated like I'm here for pain oils when I've said I don't want them I just wanted to have everything checked out
IM NOT RATING NOTHING. THESE VA HOSPITALS ARE PATHETIC. OUR SOLDIERS THAT HAVE FOUGHT FOR OUR COUNTRY IS TREATED WORSE THAN AN ANIMAL. ILLEGALS ARE TREATED BETTER. MY GREST GRANDFATHER, GRANDFATHER, FATHER AND TWP BROTHERS FOUGHT FOR THIS COUNTRY. ALL OF THE VAS SHOULD BE ASHAMED
IF YOU DONT LIKE YOUR JOB,THEN QUIT!!!!! I HOPE YOU PEOPLE GET FIRED!!! THERE IS NO REASON AMAN CHOKING ON HIS BLOOD SHOULD HAVE TO WAIT FIVE HOURS TO BE SEEN!!! I'LL DO EVERYTHING IN MY POWER TO BRING THIS TO THE NATION'S ATTENTION.. STARTING WITH THE LOCAL NEWS, AND WORKING MY WAY OUT..
This is the worst place to have to go for any kind of medical care. I sat there last week in the ER with my dad for 5 hours before he decided he would rather just go home and deal with the pain until he could see his doctor. This place is a deplorable excuse for veteran care.
