My husband was ill for 8 months in the Oklahoma VA Hospital. Dr jerry Carroll and Dr. Hollahan saved his life more than once during that stay! When I came from Ohio to be with Paul on monthly visits the whole staff was awesome! They were our extended family. We have never forgotten you all. Paul E Neidert passed away this passed December. Thank you all for giving him that time with our family. God Bless you all.
Made an appointment in November to establish myself as a new patient. Got to my appointment after a 5 month wait only to wait 3 hours to be rescheduled to June. 7 month wait to see a doctor.
Its been 7 hours and we are still sitting in the ER waiting room. Our primary doctor was too busy to see us so she sent us to the ER. How does 7 hours help any situation? Much less one where chronic pain is not controlled? Completely disappointed in their "care."
I believe it to be on of the best VA hospitals in the County... They have given my brother top notch care since day one..... He may be there for a while

Waited 5 hrs to be seen in the emergency room, 5 hrs!! Then im FINALLY called back to a bed where I wait another hour for a doctor to come look at n5y injury. Looking around, what do i see? All the staff are on there cell phones or sitting around chatting, there not helping anyone! This place is a joke. Like someone else said, no wonder the veteran suicide rate is at an all time high!! Okc VA is awesome they have been treating me really good for years. If you feel that the va isnt doing their job. Go to the dallas va or the phoenix va and you will really see what the va is all about. It just goes to show you that when people make opinions they have nothing to compare it to. OKC va is awesome and one of the best VA hospitals in America. Think people before you make opinions.
In and out...always on time and respectful
They keep saying that they are very vet friendly in their hiring practices but I think the exact opposite. Been trying for months to get in there. Vet with a masters degree in health care and they wont give me the time of day. Their hiring practices are dictated by the union. Need I say more.
