Back again, thanks to the ER staff for their great care. Also want to thank the nurses in the CICU I spent 3 days there. On Monday I went to the cath lab for an angiogram, it was negative for obstruction. It was an enlightening experience. They went in through my right wrist, thei meant less recovery time. Thanks to all for making my stay tolerable. Nice to see Randy again.
I have been using VA at Ok. City for many years. Their Drs. were able to finally control my blood pressure where civilian Drs. had failed. I do have a question unrelated to this however and it is this; how do I appeal to the VA about a non-formulary med that is costing me a lot. I have 100% disability and would like to get this inhalant through the VA if possible. Please advise?
I have never had an issue with this hospital , it was been a God Sent in my life!!!
Very poor customer service. Employees seem to think they are there to get a free check not serve veterans.
Thank you VA Medical Staff for providing excellent service. My Primary Care Provider was less than Useless but Audiology and your Mental Health departments are wonderful.
No wonder this VA is in the top 5 WORST VA medical centers in the US. I have never been treated so poorly, and have some ignorant Dr whom has NEVER served in any branch of the military, disrespect me and tell me to go back to the state I moved from because he wouldn't treat me! HIS exact words, and this is the head of the GI dept. Wow! They are here to serve us, not me him. This is my RIGHT as a combat veteran, not his choice nor his decision. And this is FAR from over!
It's been months sense my MRI and I haven't heard a thing. While I was there it took forever to been seen for an appointment I had, that I was asked if I wanted to reschedule.
Im a patient through ortho and rhuematology. Ive tried to get an appointment with ortho for months after an MRI and no reply. I made an appoinment with rhuematology in aug 2013, the soonest i could be seen was April 2014...i was on chemo meds during this time that they had prescribed. Sceduling conflict kept me from going, so i called in advance to reschedule...still no call back for an appointnent.
