There's no just plain comments section, so have to bring it here I guess. Secure messaged my primary, took a week to get an acknowledgement. Have been trying a week to get a call in to Customer Service, no answer and no call-back. What's going on, OKC? Normally, secure message at least gets acknowledged within 24 hours. There is no way this facility can have a high # of 5 star ratings, I was the daughter of a man that served in the military and the last 5 years of his life he was treated awful by the VA and their staff. If I or other family members didn't check on him daily when hospitalized there's no telling what else could gave happened and when we tried to talk to the staff they ignored our concerns ....... If you have a choice go somewhere else
With the exception of some doctors who DO care about the veterans, a lot of them don't care about the Vets and they want us in and our quickly. There are a lot of doctors who always act like we're wasting their time when we go see them.
This VA Hospital is nothing but a BUTCHER shop. I think they must use high school drop outs as Dr,s and staff. It's a disgrace how our government treats our vets as it is, but to be treated NO BETTER THAN CATTLE (which by truth are probably treated better) at what should be a 5 star medical facility and have the red carpets rolled out for our vets is despicable. I am very ashamed of our government and would not take a rabid dog to this " Hospital"
I just talked to a nurse at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Oklahoma City. who said I should not be drinking "Green Smoothies"! I have lost over 50 lbs. doing this! Please educate the personnel on alternative health. this nurse was at the "North May Clinic"!!!
Moved here from Ocala Fl and used the Gainesville Va hospital. I signed in at the Oklahoma Center A in March. Thefirst time my Primary Dr. ordered my prescriptions here in Oklahoma, they were sent to my old address in Florieda. When I called about them, they said they would reissue thiem to my loca address. Thepharmacy sent them to my home here and two days later the ones they sent to Florieda showed. up. Do I have to pay double for saome mistake the pharmacy made in sending them to florida.?
Now the Pharmacy can make my husband take something that is on his Allergy list - what is next??? if a medication is on his allergy list no pharmacy - whether VA or not Can not make you try it before they say you can take the non-formality medication that you have been on for the past 2 years. There is a reason Medications are on Allergy lists and to require a Veteran to take something that is on the Allergy list is malpractice

Worst Hospital I have even been seen for my Gulf War illnesses. Bad all across the board. I get better care at my vetranarians office. And part of the reason I moved to San Antonio, TX
