purchased a small office refrigerator, that was broken upon delivery, to this day it is still sitting on my porch for pick up, that has been 10 days now, they will not process my refund for 7-10 days after it gets to their warehouse. Carrier refused to take back said it was too heavy although it was same one that delivered (UPS). i have been on the phone everyday and emailed, i have been lied to about being picked up next day, and getting refund processed and being compensated for this nightmarish purchase. I ordered a desk and decided to cancel my order the following day and they went ahead and canceled it. However, the item still shipped and I was to told to refuse the order, which I did. Well they still took the money out of my account and I am now told it will be 7-10 days until I get a refund. That will be a total of almost two weeks that it took to refund my money. This is completely unacceptable.

We ordered a new laptop from Office Depot. They send us a used one wrapped in paper, and loose card board. No box, or manuals. Then they said they would fix it. After that they claimed we bought a used unit, but it didn't say used anywhere, including the receipt. After that they sent someone to pick up the laptop, and stopped responding to our emails.

I called Office Depot today to place an order for a laptop over the phone with a representative. Two hours later, I check the Order status, and it says CANCELLED. I call in and the rep tells me because the item is out of stock. Why would the representative who placed the order for me tell me that? In fact, it is still showing as in stock on their website and you can still add it to cart. The customer's original order was deleted in error as we had the shipping address flagged as a freight forwarding address which we do not ship to. I was able to successfully resolve the customer's issue by confirming the address and removing the flag. The customer was sent the computer and is satisfied with the resolution we have provided him.

Yesterday I purchased online 10 reams of paper to be picked up at one of their stores. When I got there they had the item pulled and charged to my credit card. To my dismay in order to get the paper... Which was paid for.... I had to let them scan my driver's license. They read my license and agreed that I was the person who ordered and paid for the paper but I could not leave the store with my purchase until they scanned my license. My wife and I decided to use Office Depot to ship our Mac computer ( store Location: Maryland Ave., Las Vegas) We had noticed a We pack and ship FedX sign in their establishment and thought it be a good way to send our IMac to our new residence. We asked that it be insured for what We had purchsed it for. When we received it, we found it floating it the box, half full of popcorn pellets with a badly damaged corner. I ordered a laptop at officedepot.com. I have been an office depot points member for years now. When I went to pay my bills I found out my account was almost empty. After looking at it I was charged 3 times for 1 laptop. I called the outsourced customer service department and spent 20 minutes trying to get through to this person enough to be "transferred to a supervisor". I was actually put back in the call queue. Tried to order school supplies three times, each time my order was held for some sort of unexplained authorization. The bank said it was NOT them so the problem is in their process somewhere. I ordered the exact same items from Walmart, using the same CC and shipping to the same address in FL. The order went through without a hitch and I even saved money.
