Our experience could not have been better. Professional and friendly staff at all levels.
I had never been in the hospital before. Had a bacterial infection and went. From the moment we walked into the Emergency Center, to the moment I was discharged, the level of care was exemplary. The nurses rule!! The only negative was that it took an extraordinarily long time to receive items from the Pharmacy. Apparently the pneumatic tube system was down, and things had to be delivered by hand, creating a wait that was frequently hours long. I went to nyu cardiac medical on 550 1st ave. I just want to start by saying it was the best experience of any hospital ive been in. From reception to the nurses to the doctors, very professional and extremely caring. I was nervous cause i was getting a catherization done but they made me feel so at ease. I trully love this hospital!! The best in NYC!!!
I just upgraded my rating, but it is MOST important ot rate the individual doctors. Most are above great, but a few should not see patients ever, and they need to go!
Dear, Dr. Steinberg, Last August I came to your office for severe reflux . You prescribed Reglan to me. You also prescribed this drug four times a day. You never warned me of any side effects of this drug. I started taking this drug at the end of July and by the end of August I had severe depression that made me so suicidal that I had to be hospitalized . It has taken me a year to recover from this nightmare. You should really warn your patients of the possible side effects of these drugs. I had know idea that a medicine for... read more
I had an abdominal Myomectomy .. I'm actually still here. My doctor and team were amazing from beginning to end. Visiting hours never end so my family was able to see me and stay and my care team was very welcoming. They were patient with me and wiped my tears when I cried. Thank you so much! I have received amazing PT from NYU Langone Men's Health Center with Vilma Aong. I made an agreement UP FRONT that I would pay out of pocket as a self-pay patient. Then they billed insurance (that I no longer have). By the way, self-pay is $157.23 per 30-minute PT session and through my insurance the out-of-pocket is over $400 per 30-minute session. #America. NYU has the most professional staff in the health care system. My son was there for 3 weeks and it was the best 3 weeks of my life. His doctors Levine, Sharma and Tejwani are hands down the best in the business The nursing staff are exxeptional, even the housekeeping staff were great. I would definitely recommend NYU to everyone because they're that good plus tax.
