Had a appt at the radiology department.. The time of my appt was for 1:00pm but didn't understand the part to arrive 30 min earlier... I didn't have to sign or fill out papers.. So i feel i was there earlierfor nothing
Today we had the pleasure of dealing with Luis Rodriguez in the Customer Service Unit of Patient Financial Services. Our paperwork and filing claims is a tortuous process. After several attempts to straighten things out via the web we went to see Luis. He was patient, polite and efficient. Well done NYU Langone.
Front desk guy on the first floor was a uncommunicative person ever! I spelt out the name of the person I was visiting 10 times! And he's like what? Then he finally found a name close to the person I was there for and told me I'm in the wrong building the disease hospital is on 16th street when clearly I told him multiple times I'm here because someone just gave birth!!!!! Even the security guard was spelling it out for him so many times. I don't understand what was so hard about it! It was a common and simple name.
This hospital is a perfect example of quality health care. Excellent in every way.
First of all I would have given it negative stars if that was possible. They missed the most significant cost in the estimate without mentioning it as an exclusion and now they want to charge that to me which I think is unfair and defeats the purpose why I got estimate from them. I had gone for a thumb surgery this May, based on the fact that the estimate they had provided for the cost was just about reasonable and affordable. My experience at Tisch Department operated by NYU Langone is the worst experience I have ever felt. There's miscellaneous collection of human error this department makes that already cost me 1 week of inpatient stay with various investigations. The best part is they keep on saying that this particular department is the best in NYU Langone. The receptionist makes sure that it is my DUTY to understand each and every thing they are saying . My surgery went well and everyone at the hospital was caring and nice and made me feel comfortable. I am unhappy that whoever inputs important test results is not very careful. I am also upset that my doctor went on vacation and never called me. She told me she would call me with results and did not and I even sent a message over the portal. Although and thank goodness my test results were all good, I had to read them myself and search for them myself. I sent my second email today because there was a mistake on my history th... read more
