Dr. Norton Fishman strikes the perfect balance between personability and professionalism. He clearly possesses a vast amount of technical knowledge on the topic of infectious disease, yet ostensibly displays an empathetic understanding of his patien'ts unique struggles.
Dr. Fishman has cured several of my family of illnesses that utterly baffled other doctors. He listened to us, did thorough testing, asked lots of questions, and then prescribed both prescription medicines and supplements, adjusting them as our symptoms changed and we improved. He is patient, thoughtful and kind. I have recommended him to friends, who have also benefited greatly from his wisdom and help.
Dr. Fishman listens well and takes his time to try to understand what is happening with my health.
I love seeing Dr Fishman. He explains everything. He is accepting and does not frown and scowl at me like other doctors. He takes time to hear my all symptoms, unlike other doctors who only want to hear about the symptoms related to their specialty (as if they should expect me to know what is in their box and what is outside it).
Dr. Fishman is always extremely detailed, his treatment patients a picture and is much like peeling the layers of an onion dealing with one issue at a time effectively. Not only is he versed in effective medication and dosing but also nutraceutical support.
I like that he answers questions directly and if he does not know something he says so. He also reads and informs himself about new treatments and other useful information which are useful to his patients.
I appreciate that Dr. Fishman is approaching my situation from different standpoints and is addressing different issues at different appointments, and addressing an old issue through a different lens. I could speak frankly with him and felt he was hearing what I had to say.
Dr. Fishman is very thoughtful in his strategies to help me navigate through my Lyme disease. He has been very helpful in my recovery. I would definitely recommend Dr. Fishman to friends and family!
DR. Fishman is compassionate and knowledgeable. And, professional. I appreciate his thoroughness and expertise. He has helped me for the last two years and I do not think I would be recovering right now, if not for Dr. Fishman and his staff. I still have a lot more healing to do and I am greatful for his continuing care.
