Northwest credit union has the WORST or often NO customer service. I have a small problem, but no remedy, cannot even email them!!! Come Monday I am going to be looking for another credit union!!!

They have been absolutely ZERO help to resolve the issues with my auto loan. Customer service via their phone system is terrible. I will definitely be getting my loan refinanced through a different institution ASAP

My payment travels from the Oregon Coast to Corvallis to Portlan, which has been experiencing weather troubles. So my payment was a day late. So, your folks were kind enough to apply a late charge. Then call me two weeks later and send me a threatening letter over a 7.70 late fee. THEN when I call to ask for the charge to be waived I'm told I have to go to a branch and pay. The nearest branch is 40 miles from me. I find this an incredibly petty and arrogant way to do business. From now on I will only deal with local banks.

If your looking for a jumbo loan and you need your file reviewed in a timely manor and a detailed explanation as to a plan from under writers, which proves they fully are invested in your file then your looking at the wrong bank. It isn't that I don't recommend them , I recommend you get a couple banks involved and not dedicate yourself as I did to my bank. very unfortunet.
