My mother was brought in by ambulance for difficulty breathing at 3:30pm. Bloodwork and x-rays done within the first 30 minutes which is great, but it is now 7:00pm and other than the DR popping in about an hour ago asked a couple questions, listened to heart and lungs and then walked out, not a peep from anyone. Nurse has not been in to check since initial intake, this is jut nuts!! Not impressed AT ALL !!
Last night a my brother came in saying he was thinking about harming his self. He was released the same night and was told he didnt need help. They did nothing to help him and broke protocol for a mental health diagnosis. This hospital will do nothing for you. Dont entrust them with the life of your family.
Gorgeous and awesome facility. Terrific people!!! I had outpatient surgery today and I don't believe I could have gotten better treatment. Very friendly and caring staff. They make sure you know everything that is going on. They explain everything.
ER Doc don't listen! They automatically think your there for drugs. And they treat you according to what kind of insurance you have. Also they list so many things on my bill that I did not use or get. Beside manner below a (1). Also had a male nurse going through my purse. I guess he thought I was deaf. He dropped my wallet and said "Great, driving without a license." They were in my back pocket. Then in ICU 2 nurses started discussing my Dr in front of me and my case. Very unprofessional!!!
Note to self, GO TO CARTERSVILLE Hospital. It's been 1 1/2 hr. Still setting in lobby. Took blood in a side, non sterile room. In a consultation room. I told the lady twice that I am having pains like hunger pains twice she told me, you can't have anything to eat or drink till dr says. I get that, I don't want anything. My fever is 99. Something. I feel horrible. Let's sit up straight and wait some more. Next time I will be in CARTERSVILLE! Not to mention we will probably get dr bills from every different department. CARTERS... read more
I had some questions about my account, talked with a CS rep in the billing department. I was told I can't make an online account, that I can only pay as a guest every month because of how my account is set up. I told her that I would like to be able to see my account online, it seems backwards to me that I can't make an account because of this. She told me "no it isn't" and hung up on me. Fantastic service, I'm just trying to give you my money...
