Great pro staff, very attentive and very pleasant.
Went to the ER not once did any nurse or dr ask what meds I was currently taking! Hello triage 101 smh they advised to use the call button of course no one came when I went out to the nurses station they were standing around talking. Spelled my name wrong and address even though I had been there previously, filled out paperwork AND gave them my ID! Never called with results. The cafeteria and food offerings are abysmal. Do you not think there are sick people or families that visit on the weekends? Why would the cafeteria be at half operations on a Saturday? Your employees deserve better as do the families of patients. There is also not a separate decent coffe shop. I've never seen a more pathetic food offerings for patrons at such a large hospital.
Does not honor co-pay amount on accepted insurance plans for ER such as Blue Cross Blue Shield. My husband is recovering from cancer & went in on a Saturday, had several tests & turned out to be strep throat. Was billed for over $2,000 with $722 due immediately & set up a payment plan for the rest. Confirmed with BCBS of Ga that it should have only been $150 co-pay that day. Amazing nurses, amazing doctors. They make a hospital stay just a little easier. They always want to help you or get you what you need. I love them!
The new hospital is amazing! Madison, nurse in ER, was so awesome! Our daughter broke her ankle (again) and the whole staff was so great. They were super busy, but we were in and out way faster then any ER I’ve ever been to or heard of!!! We had been to the old hospital for our daughter’s surgery (on the broken ankle) which was nice, but this new one is so much nicer!!!
My husband was a patient on the 6th floor for five days. We could not have asked for better care from all the nurses/doctors involved in his care. Thank you all so very much.
