They arrived when they said they would. They restated the agreed upon price but it was increased a bit because I needed to have a "short" water heater installed vs. a regular sized one. They worked quickly and answered my questions. Chuck strongly recommended the water softening system be repaired so the water heater would last longer. I agreed to this and the price he quoted me seemed reasonable. I was happy with their service and will consider hiring them in the future.
Friendly and professional. The cost of the repairs ended up being about $100 higher than other estimates I received from a few other companies, but they were willing to come down with the price. Based on the repairs and the interactions with the employees, I would definitely use them again. I'd rather pay a little bit more to have a better overall experience.

Quick, efficient, polite, friendly -- I'd definitely recommend Northern -- Russell installed a sink and faucet, and fixed a leaking sink/faucet. Great job.
called right away after my inquiry. they got someone to come out asap and didnt charge me untill they fixed the problem! they sent an experienced and cordial plumber to help me with my dual water heater system that was having serious technical difficulties. was unable to remove old water heater out for me but no biggie, i just want hot water again and they helped me get it back and im very happy.

They came right away and delivered the water heater I had ordered. Choosing the right unit was made easier by Charles describing the features and discussing what would work for me. I got the glass-lined model. Installation took less than an hour.

They gave us a two hour window for when they showed up but were detained. However they did call and offer to either come another time or come late. Once there they gave us a reasonable estimate and when they came back to do the work, they were right on time and cleaned up.
