The North Portland Wellness Center (NPWC) was founded in 2007 as a holistic multi-disciplinary clinic. Founders Annabelle Snow, LAc and Lili Scott, LAc saw potential in a huge, falling down old Portland home and purchased it in 2005. Over the next 18-months, they cleared, lifted and completely renovated the building creating the space for the Wellness Center to emerge. I love this place! It was a little hard to find my first time, but I've been back a few times now. I love establishing a relationship with an LMT, who understands the chronic aches and pains I experience and knows how to work with it. Erik has been fabulous. I can never wait for my next appointment.
I was in a terrible car accident almost a year ago now. I joined a pilates class, hoping it would help with the pain, but its been difficult finding a medium between what's too much and not enough. During this time of rehabilitating, my back has been a bad deal. I went in to NPWC reluctant that it would make any difference, but after my acupuncture session I felt like I had a new body. I recently received my first acupuncture treatment ever with Jessica Maynard. I had a great treatment with her and have noticed significant improvement in my shoulder. Thanks Jessica! I've since been back for treatment of a sprained ankle from playing soccer. I saw Colleen Bunker and felt that even just one acupuncture treatment really made a difference.
We found North Portland Wellness Center last fall, and have loved our experiences there. Ausa and Aurio are gifted massage therapists, and Meghan is a talented acupuncturist. We have been blessed to have received care by such talented people. Also, the house where NPWC is located is warm and inviting, and the staff are friendly. Thank you NPWC!
A very calm and healing office to walk into. The massage therapists are wonderful and communicative. I highly recommend a visit!
