The North Portland Wellness Center (NPWC) was founded in 2007 as a holistic multi-disciplinary clinic. Founders Annabelle Snow, LAc and Lili Scott, LAc saw potential in a huge, falling down old Portland home and purchased it in 2005. Over the next 18-months, they cleared, lifted and completely renovated the building creating the space for the Wellness Center to emerge. Great Place! They were able to get me the same day I called and the staff was very nice. Easy location to get to and great that they offer a discount if you walk, bus or bike there!
Really nice place with a great energy and nice staff. Their rates are affordable even without health insurance and the practitioners I encountered were very intuitive and skilled. I'm an LMT, and I've already referred multiple patients to the NPWC for chiropractic treatments in the last week!
The staff here is very polite and professional, and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Sara, the massage therapist, is very knowledgeable and I am noticing results after only a couple of sessions. I plan to continue my massage therapy sessions here and I would certainly recommend the North Portland Wellness Center to a friend!
Wonderful experience each and every time I go. Very knowledgeable and well trained chiropractors and massage therapists. Friendly front desk staff and a soothing, relaxing atmosphere. Wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
I would highly recommend the NPWC. They give discounts for biking, they have a beautiful, cozy, old converted house, and they serve tea to help you relax before your appointment. Most importantly, Sarah, the LMT, got to the point, and relieved the stress I was holding in my back for months. The girl at the front desk is also very personable, friendly and made me feel right at home.
I have been looking for a qualified acupuncturist for a while. As I am very picky, it has been a long search. I just went to see Annabelle this morning and I am so happy! I have never had a new Doctor take so much time for an initial consultation as Annabelle did. She was calm and caring and extremely attentive. I have received acupuncture from two Practitioners at NPWC. I love the quiet, spacious feeling of the center, as well as the warm, professionalism of all the staff I have met. This is my first choice for a wellness center!
I have had wonderful results in the short time I have been seeing Colleen. I have had serious neck pain problems for years, and have been on a considerable amount of pain medication. Since starting with Colleen in October, I have been able to reduce my pain meds while experiencing an overall reduction in my neck pain. I have also had massage therapy with Tiffany.
