The North Portland Wellness Center (NPWC) was founded in 2007 as a holistic multi-disciplinary clinic. Founders Annabelle Snow, LAc and Lili Scott, LAc saw potential in a huge, falling down old Portland home and purchased it in 2005. Over the next 18-months, they cleared, lifted and completely renovated the building creating the space for the Wellness Center to emerge. I've tried out a handful of different masseuses there, and all are well-trained and pleasant. Two visits ago, I met my perfect fit. Her name is Emily. I started acupuncture at North Portland Wellness Center about 8 months ago after 7 years of chronic pain in my back, hip and leg associated with an unstable SI joint. I have seen two doctors, two chiropractors, done physical therapy for two years, endured an MRI, taken medicines, worn braces, and tried multiple health and fitness plans to try to ease my pain. I've been seeing Eric for massage and Ario for Thai massage for a few months now to deal with some pretty chronic lower back pain. They are both amazing. I recommend the 90 min sessions . You will leave feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. Staff there are great too. Very friendly.
