The North Portland Wellness Center (NPWC) was founded in 2007 as a holistic multi-disciplinary clinic. Founders Annabelle Snow, LAc and Lili Scott, LAc saw potential in a huge, falling down old Portland home and purchased it in 2005. Over the next 18-months, they cleared, lifted and completely renovated the building creating the space for the Wellness Center to emerge. I love this place! I recently started acupuncture for the first time in my 38 years and I was a little nervous but the staff were all very nice and welcoming. They really take the time to listen to you. The environment is very quiet and relaxing with the sound of waterfalls and soft music in the background. Each time I walk out after my appointment I feel calm, relaxed, and happy. :).
The last 5 weeks I have been going to North Portland Wellness Center. It has been a great experience and conveniently located just blocks away from my house. I have worked with three lovely women, Emily, Colleen and Maura. They have made my pregnancy comfortable even now at 41 weeks. I am looking forward to continuing with their excellent services after baby comes!!
I have been going to North Portland Wellness Center for a couple of years now for massage treatments. I have always had a fantastic time and treatment. I have been seeing Eric now for some months, and he is extremely respectful, conscientious and so good at what he does! He is able to tell most of my bodily concerns in the short time that he sees me walk into the room, and is very attentive to what my body needs are and what my comfort levels are. I have been to NPWC three times now for massages. I love the space, the friendly receptionists, and the great team of healers. My shoulder discomfort is greatly alleviated due to the intention and skill of the massage therapists. I am very thankful to have this wellness center in my neighborhood. Erik is highly recommended!
I received an amazing massage from Ario Lynch a month ago and I STILL feel better! I had a very stubbornly tight QL on one side and it has remained vastly improved since he worked on it and other issues I came in with. I am a massage therapist myself, and am very picky about the kind of bodywork I receive. I like getting massage from therapists who have a mix of technical and intuitive understanding of the body. I started a plan with Dr. Borgardt for chiropractic services. This is honestly the most pain free I've ever been in my lower back-hip area. I feel like he really knows what he's doing. The actual center is very welcoming and relaxing. The receptionist there is so friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend the place to my friends and at this point I think half my office receives some sort of service there!
I LOVE the North Portland Wellness Center and Erik gives the best massages ever. He has a plan and I've noticed significant improvement in how I feel over the past couple of months.
