The North Portland Wellness Center (NPWC) was founded in 2007 as a holistic multi-disciplinary clinic. Founders Annabelle Snow, LAc and Lili Scott, LAc saw potential in a huge, falling down old Portland home and purchased it in 2005. Over the next 18-months, they cleared, lifted and completely renovated the building creating the space for the Wellness Center to emerge. Excellent Acupuncturist – I recently had to transition to a new acupuncturist and decided to give Colleen at North portland wellness center a try. HEr comforting nature and experience made this a lot easier for me. She really knows what she is doing and is treating my ailments with success. This place is in my NE neighborhood in walking distance from my house which I love and has a very soothing environment inside. Considerate and courteous, amazing care – Rachael's massages are by far the best I've ever experienced. I can feel years of stress and tension lifting with each session. She seems to have an intuitive knowledge of where to go and what pressure to apply. My experience with accupuncture has been equally fantastic. Awsome Wellness Clinic! – I have been passing this clinic for months as it is right near my house and I kept on telling myself 'I would go in soon'. In the last two weeks I got a chiropractor appointment with Glenda and am quite a fan! I felt like I left with a longer/straighter spine as well as some helpful exercises to follow on my own time. Most Relaxing Experience – I got a massage from Marguerite through my Kaiser plan and she was awesome! It was only 25$ and I got ten dollars off my next massage for filling out this review. They were very helpful when I got lost. They offer a wide range of naturpathic medicines and support services. If you want to feel totally relaxed and calm, this is the place to go.
excellent chiropractic care – I have seen Glenda for chiropractic care for the past few months. She is always attentive to my concerns and has good solutions. Unlike other chiropractors, she doesn't encourage patients coming in more than needed for adjustments and focuses on getting patients on the road to health with stretches, exercises and other recommendations.
Colleen is wonderful at the North Portland Wellness Center – I am so glad to have found this wonderful place. Cosy and warm I feel really cared for and looked after while getting my acupuncture treatment from Colleen. Colleen really listens. She is wonderful at what she does.
Great Experience for my first massage! – This was my first time getting a massage. I had purchased a gift certificate for my girlfriend for Valentine's Day and my girlfriend talked me in to getting a massage while she redeemed her gift certificate. This didn't take much effort on her part. Emily was my masseuse. She took the time to explain how things work since I am new at this.
