This is probably the worst company to deal with. I filed a claim on 9/3. STILL havent received a decision. Ive asked for many call backs with nothing in return. They really stretch their call backs because its been roughly over a week to hear from a manager. The company I work for said they are dropping this company because theyve had so many issues with their employees. Ive been on short term before and this is just awful with costumer service. This company is a joke when it comes to their app. I have two policy from them for some reason they let me change the billing part under one of my policy to be withdrawal from my husbands bank account , but the second policy they will not let me do that. They make it so complicated that I have to wait for them to send me paperwork to apply whatever they need to do then they will change it. I hate New York life these benefits come out my check for me whenever I need it I work hard for this and they put you through a lot just to get it my worker name ***** has no compassion nor a heart when it comes to my needs when things change in my case I dont hear from her I have to call in and find out the other customer service representatives are HORRIBLE I call and ask for a supervisor they told me that I couldnt talk to a supervisor so I called everyday I found out the supervisor was named **** I called everyday for he... read more

Contract no# A12063903 I told the agents at least 3 times I wanted my policy to start on September 28 and payment on October 3 . I paid on September 26 . Now I was told they started my policy on September 2nd ! ? So now I owe another payment of $$136.83 I dont have ???? Im going to leave a negative review every week until this is corrected ! Beware of this insurance company !!!!

I filed a disability claim in July and have encountered continuous delays, miscommunication, and negligence from this company. Despite my doctor and employer faxing the required documentation multiple times, it took over a month for the company to acknowledge receipt. I was repeatedly told they had all the necessary information, only to later receive letters stating more was needed.Attempts to contact my claims manager were unsuccessful for over a month and a half. I'm on long term disability due to an unexpected health issue. ***************** with *** when i had to stop working. After applying, i was eventually approved (60% of my income). My monthly payments started with the caveat that I needed to apply for SSDI as soon as possible, or they would stop my *** payments. I applied.
