Placed an order on 10/5/19 for a 6 piece dining set. The Hawthorne Furniture Drake 6-Piece Dining Set in Rustic White and French Oak to be exact. They informed me the table and chairs were in stock and available but the bench wouldn't be available until 12/12/19. We were OK to wait as we really liked the set. Fast forward to our delivery date, they call us to inform us that the chairs are on back order and wouldn't become available till early December. I opened this account in 2018 and as with every other credit card I placed this on auto pay. I never look at the statements as I trust NFM to just draft whatever I owed. Today, Feb 4,2020 I received a text message on my cell phone that stated I was past due. I initially thought it was a mistake considering im on auto pay and the payments appear to be drafting just fine. I called into customer service where I was treated like I did something wrong. I've had a credit account with Nebraska for several years. I've always used their autopay system to debit my checking account every month. In my case that amount was $200. I noticed this past month (Dec) that I had a fairly small balance remaining so I decided to pay the balance (about $500) because it was a promotional interest free finance offer about to expire. When autopay is set up, there is an option to select an end date which would terminate reoccurring payments at that time. If you do not enter an end date, your recurring payment amount will continue to be processed until 1) you enter an end date or 2) cancel the recurring payments, regardless of balance owed, even when the balance reaches zero. I purchased a set of rugs online from their website on December 1st 2019 and paid for it in full . I received an email on January 2nd 2020 saying that order is cancelled and a refund will be issued . I called their customer service and they transferred me to the local store who didn't do anything and said they will email the responsible person and let him contact me . I purchased a 2700 Dollar ******* Refrigerator Aug 2018, bought an extended warranty as well, so far I have had to have a new ice maker installed three times approximately less than every six months, now I am going on number 4 Ice maker , what a nightmare, you have to stay and wait for a technician so he can order the parts then again to come and install new ice maker so costing me on average of two days missed work per every Six months , the refrigerator has been discontinued and since the first three ice makers were under ... read more

I am very sorry to hear about your experience. NFM as the retailer does have a 30 day return and exchange period and you are then covered under the manufacture for a period of 1-year. If an extended warranty was purchased you would be covered under Assurant for the duration of the plan purchased. If no extended warranty was purchased any repairs would be an out of pocket expense. This is not a duplicate review. I ordered a dining room set due to be delivered and set up by NFM. Now after paying for delivery and set up they have accepted my 90$ fee and gone delivery. I am trying to straighten it out through email because I am 63, deaf and disabled, a Vietnam Nam SF Medic Vet widow and cannot set it up myself. They keep asking for my name and I keep sending it but they keep asking for my name.

I was able to locate the customers order and it was actually delivered today 11.27.19. There are no notes in the order stating that there were any issues with the delivery or item being assembled. Purchased a ******** switch on 11/2/19. It quit working within 1st week. I tried to exchange for a new one or return & they will not let me do so even with the receipt. Blake the tech manager was extremely rude & told me he would not return & hadn't even looked at the product. I encouraged him just to check & be sure. My order was delayed and based on the online reviews I should have listened and never purchased from Nebraska Furniture Mart. We purchased and bedroom set and dining room table and chairs. We picked the delivery date because rails for the bed needed to come in from manufacturer. This seemed weird that a bed would be missing parts but I get that it can happen. Date for furniture today(11/14/19) arrives and my furniture is now not being delivered because the bed is now missing the foot board??!!?? First off how does the set I ... read more

Most unreliable place! So this tells me a lot about what kind of business man Warren ******* is, or maybe he needs to pay more attention as to what is happening with his business either way he has lost another costumer .
