Nebraska Furniture is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I ordered appliances and the day it was suppose to get delivered, it did not. I called that day at 7pm to ask if my items were still going to get delivered, the representative told me that the delivery driver was still scheduled to make my stop. 10pm and we still had not received our appliances. When an item is found to have damage we do like to notify the customers before the delivery. Once, notified and the customer provided the ok we can then delivery the item and either do an exchange once a new unit comes in or offer compensation to keep the one as is. If I could give negative stars, I would! We purchased flooring ($15,000.00) for our entire house from NFM in January 2021, it was installed by NFM or their sub-contractor. In May 2021, we noticed that the flooring was buckling and lifting. We contacted NFM and made a claim. We were contacted my a claims coordinator that stated the installer had 48 hours to respond and come out to look at our flooring and then an inspector would come out. We agreed that would be fine, as we could still get use out of our set for most of summer. It's now the end of July and I have been told the item is not going to be delivered until November. We don't want to cancel the item, because we have part of the set and have been using that since April. I am being told the maker of the furniture is the problem and the item is being made slowly. I ordered a sectional in February. I was told it would arrive in July. I waited patiently and called today only to be told, "Oh it won't be delivered until January." Why wasn't I contacted? Nothing was offered for my inconvenience. Just nothing.

The fact that Nebraska Furniture Mart only seems to respond to positive reviews on most sites should help you realize what a horrible customer experience you will have if anything goes wrong with your order/installation. It's been a solid month of battling with their claims department after our kitchen backsplash was completely butchered by the installer and now we haven't heard.a word from them in 9 days (after NFM ordered the wrong materials twice to begin with). Save yourself the headache and shop elsewhere!
