A splendid culinary adventure awaits you at Navarre, a unique dining destination with a highly innovative take on the working of a restaurant. The interiors have a very casual, cafe-style vibe with bare walls, a wine shelf on one of the walls and a handful of lanterns hanging from the ceiling. The all-glass entrance allows a good play of natural light inside. The chef crafts an innovative selection of European small plates with influences from the Italian, French and Spanish palate. The twist however, comes with the menu. Th... read more

One of my favorite places in town – I love the small plates, many flavors, old standards, variety. I allow plenty of time and plan for long conversations with my companions.
Great ethics, bad night for pie. – We stopped in for dessert on a Saturday night. Around 8:30 pm. We were seated immediately. We ordered the Basques cake and Blueberry Huckleberry pie. Both had noticeably burned crusts which left a bitter taste that overwhelmed the nice berry flavors. Well, we have been there before and things were great but we were disappointed. So we were ready to call it a night thinking that we probably would not rush back when the manager or owner asked us how things were. So I said that we were a littl... read more
Know Why You Go... – I go to Navarre when I want to relax and have a great array of interesting tastes served to me in a simple, friendly atmosphere. If you want a typical dining experience, well, you may or may not get it here. After all, at one time the owner refused to call this place a restaurant. He preferred food and drink place. When I go, I let the server chose everything after giving a few simple guideline such as, "minerally" white wine, no beets, and no animal organs. Actually, I don't think they have any dishes w... read more
great time – I had the best dining experience at Navarre. I recomend going and enjoying the "we choose" meal and some of the wine from their extrordinary wine list.
That blonde lady is the best server ever! – I was at Navarre recently and that blonde lady was the only server on the floor. It was a packed house and I really appreciated her to-the-point New York style. It was obvious that she had 100 things going on but she was calm and collected and had just enough time to convey what we needed to know to order. She may not do it for Olive Garden but she does it for me! The food was nice and I like the cake too.
4.5 Stars?, you must be Joking! – Pros: Small Portions, Smaller Price. French Bistro style menu. Cons: Hard to Read Hand-writing STANDARD menu, Printed Special Menu, Does that make any sense? Taste is, ehh..okay. Leaves you hungry after $30 bill. The feel of the place really doesn't draw customers in, the lighting/the space/the staff, etc. It's small, dark, and unfriendly. The fact you don't have much 1:1 time with your server, makes ordering frustrating...one can only ask so many questions before feeling like a French food ... read more
just eh – I don't usually feel the need to post a negative review, but this time i do. I have never been to Navarre for dinner, and will give it a try, but just came from brunch there and will never do that again. We were seated quickly and the waitress was pleasant but that's where the positive ends for me. I found the whole meal to be pretentious. You write your own order down and get your own coffee. All the waitress did was pour our water and bring us our food. and the food? i have a sick feeling in my stomach even think... read more
LUNCH – I have always loved Navarre for dinner and never liked its luch menu. That has changed. Navarre now has a great lunch menu. Its full of great food all day. No more silly sandwiches now there is delicious real food. I hope it catches on because its a great lunch.
Nice experience – I was at Navarre and the power went out. The staff quickly set out more candles and the kitchen found a flashlight. We figured we would be told they would have to close but they just brought out our food and asked if we needed anything. It was as if nothing had happened. We were charmed. The food was excellent and what could of been an awkward experience turned into and enchanting one. It's one of the things that makes this place so special. The trout, greens and endive gratin were fantastic. The wines are ... read more
