Great rental experience. Friendly, courteous staff, good selection. I have privilege to the Emerald Isle and the process was so simple and efficient where i just go to the Isle, select a vehicle and drive off after a quick stop at the gate with an attendant to check out the car. Great Job.

As always with emerald class, selection was as easy as walking up to a car and getting in. After I drove away I noticed cigarette ashes everywhere and it smelled like an ashtray. Almost crashed on highway when I went to use my windshield washers. They must have watered down the fluid and it was frozen. I checked the level when I stopped and the sprayers were also clear. They worked after it warmed up outside. My worst experience with them so far.

Our disappointment comes with National's customer service. We forgot one of our kids booster seats in the car at drop off in Orlando. We immediately attempted to call National while still at the airport and after several transfers, automated messaging and speaking with different folks, we were told to submit our request online. We have heard nothing at this point. This is a booster seat with a tag with our name on it. It is a big item to lose. Where could it have gone? Love National. Once you sign up for their program the process is so quick. You walk out to the emerald island and pick out any car you want, then drive to the exit, hand them your driver license and credit card and on your way. No lines to stand in and you get to see the options of cars instead of having a clerk select for you. I have rented from other firms that require a receipt of my gas purchase, never happens when I rent from National.

Went to return a rental car at FLL on 1/6/17. Due to the shooting, the entrance to the rental car return was blocked. I called National to ask where I could return the car, but they gave me no answer. After the commotion, we flew out of JAX the next day, returning the car there. National charged nearly $400 for one extra day, despite there not being anyplace to return the car at FLL. Price gouging at it worst!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently used National Car Rental at Miami Airport. The processing time was quick and the employees were very helpful and courteous. The rental car was freshly washed and very clean.

I went on my first business trip and had never used National before; everyone I encountered were so pleasant and helpful. I will rent from National from now on!
