DTW facility was nice to deal with nice car and no whining about its a specialty car .. i say it specially because i am executive elite status so i can choose nicer cars which has only happened at this place. So 4+ starts for this facility however at RDU facility they not nice often rude and their car are often not clean. i asked for a specific car and it was there but he said it will be extra which should not be, since i have rented the same car before without extra payment unfortunately the desk people are bad however the ... read more
Excellent service, love to walk around and pick the car that I like. Not tied down to the measly car that a car rental will assign to you or you have to pay extra to rent a nicer vehicle.

I am a recent Emerald Club member and couldn't be happier with my experience so far! I was impacted by the storms that hit 12/16-12/17 and impacted the airline industry. My flight, from St. Louis to Denver, which was delayed 11 hours was cancelled at 1:30 am on 12/18. The next flight available to me was 12/21. Needing to be back sooner I decided to rent a car and drive to Denver. Standard rental at National. Reserved on line, choice on Executive Selection, clean, full of gas and ready to go. Return very quick, just get out and go to terminal. Bill emailed before you get on your flight. Never any negative surprises. Will continue to rent as long as I can drive.
Rent from National a couple times a month across the country. Selection of vehicles in Portland was either Hyundai Elantra or Chrysler Minivan while reserving a full size car. Staff could care less and was almost efficient at best. By far the least agreeable experience in last 12 months.
I had excellent customer service from the counter, to the rental area, to the return of the car. The staff went above and beyond my expectations to ensure that I was comfortable with the very nice car that they put me in, to ensuring that I had left no personal belongings in the car when I returned.
Horrible car rental experience I have ever had. There are bunch of other good companies such as Hertz and Avis, so don't even go near this company.
Quick pick up and return All the folks were nice, including the shuttle bus drivers. No hassle, no fuss.
