RecommendedEmerald club is AWESOME!!! You literally just walk past the counter, into the emerald aisle, get in a car and drive off. Best and easiest experience ever!!
Rented a car from DFW on Oct 21 to be returned to DFW. Nov 20. Revived a call from National saying they closed the contract because the car was due to be turned in in FLA on Nov 11. Then was told the car was reported stolen because it was not in FLA. After 4 days of being transferred from one department to another I finally got someone who has tried to help me. Renting a car is not rocket science
RecommendedNational is good but the cars coming out of DFW are dirty much of the time. My car this weekend had greasy food residue on the dash.
Had leaky tire. Was told to go to any Firestone Store for repair or replacement. Firestone had no clue what l was talking about. After wasting my time there l had to go to a busy airport location to get a different car. This was an additional imposition on me. Poor coordination between National and it’s service providers. National should have offered to bring me a replacement vehicle.
RecommendedSimple , make a call, set time and return date, bypass counter, select my car, hit the road worry free. Make my sales calls, refuel, return, head home.
RecommendedEmerald Club is great!!!! However, this past rental was the first time I had ever gotten a relatively dirty vehicle. It was a Silverado and was on the aisle to choose from, so should have been detailed, but wasn’t. There was a nasty windshield with a ring where the last person’s GPS was mounted. Smears all over the dash and console. I still love National, but it was a bit disappointing. But was really the only vehicle in the row that I was interested in.
