Had leaky tire. Was told to go to any Firestone Store for repair or replacement. Firestone had no clue what l was talking about. After wasting my time there l had to go to a busy airport location to get a different car. This was an additional imposition on me. Poor coordination between National and it’s service providers. National should have offered to bring me a replacement vehicle.
This was the easiest thing I did on my out of town trip. They have made renting a car a simple walk in process and dropping it off was just as simple. Thank you!!
Simple , make a call, set time and return date, bypass counter, select my car, hit the road worry free. Make my sales calls, refuel, return, head home.
Emerald Club is great!!!! However, this past rental was the first time I had ever gotten a relatively dirty vehicle. It was a Silverado and was on the aisle to choose from, so should have been detailed, but wasn’t. There was a nasty windshield with a ring where the last person’s GPS was mounted. Smears all over the dash and console. I still love National, but it was a bit disappointing. But was really the only vehicle in the row that I was interested in.
Whenever possible I rent from National. I absolutely love bypassing the counter and choosing whatever vehicle I want. It’s so simple and there’s no hassle. Everyone tries to get you in and out as quick as possible. I only wish there were more local branches that I could rent from. I only have the option of renting in the airport which is usually more expensive. If I have to rent locally, I’m always stuck going to Enterprise. They are ok and all, but not as convenient and your Emerald Executive status means virtually nothing ... read more
Great experience, landed in Boston, went directly to garage to pick vehicle of my choice and I was on the road in less than 10 minutes. Could not have gone smother.

Easy to rent, pick up and return the car. My only complaint is that I returned the car a full day early and was given some 'policy'' reason why I ocould not get a refund of the one day. I rented it for 2 weeks, and paid to return the tank empty, so I think a little flexibility would have left me with a much more positive impression. Other than that, no complaints.
Walk in, pick the car of your choice...many to choose from; drive to exit booth, hand credit card, see ya... Easy directional signage for return, drive up, hand keys, wait about 30 seconds for them to look your car over, they hand you receipt, bye bye...
