A Napleton Subaru salesman replied to me with an invitation to test drive their 2016 car. After a couple of weeks, I made it out,, saw the car in person, and did a test drive. It was nice,, but not in mint condition for only 2 years old and low miles. (worn front tires, curbed wheels, a number of nicks and scratches on the paint. Additionally the "tire alert" warning light was on. I was told it was just from sitting in the cold...sadly, no effort was made to correct the warning light situation before or after the test drive.... read more

Surprisingly they do not take credit card only cash or cheque. Moreover when we asked to hold the car for us for one day they denied

I found a car online with an acceptable price. I arranged financing via the phone and accepted at list price. I drove 3.5 hours to the dealership. I had written agreement with sales man on price and that everything was complete just sign and drive. I arrived to a purchase order with a $500 increase from agreed price. When I asked to change the price the new purchase order came out with the change but the bottom line only decreased by $100 approx. I inquired as to how that could be. Had a deal worked out, then they changed everything to their benefit. We walked away, we dont deal with people who give their word and a handshake then call you one hour later and want to change everything. If you are not as good as your word then how good are you?
