This company is falsifying information about me. I googled my name with the third listed search return being mylife.com. It states that I have a criminal history in which I do not. This is the most fraudulent, invasive, non-secure web site I have come across. The web site itself should be illegal. It knows my current and prior addresses, my phone number, my parking ticket, and likely even more things that should not be made public. The fact that American biding citizens of the law who are upstanding people have if any setbacks or have fallen on hard times have all of their laundry aired out and a reputation score derived from court records or whatever sources is a violation of privacy. Signed up for a membership and everywhere I click on the page just says page not found. I literally cannot lookup any information on myself after signing up for a membership.

I would like to leave a negative stars review as well, one isn't low enough. They are simply out to rip off consumers by posting protected health information (PHI) such as name, address, and birth date, and then flatly refuse to remove it. The HIPAA violations are up to $50,000 per record so a lawyer should take that on and clean up a festering mess.

Criminal continued charges filed repeatedly each month after a single inquiry use. Call them and they say it will stop. It continues monthly charge after charge. Been in contact with credit card company and them. Major trouble with them and their false bills. Avoid these people. Evil.

I thought when I saw the Advertisement, why not try it. Well....my reputation score before I started filling out the information was 2.89....not good but not terrible. My credit rating is good. Never bankrupted, never had any criminal cases against me. Never fired from a job...yada yada yada. I'm a pretty boring individual. After I filled everything I could on their site and provided the explanations to my moving violations (speeding tickets and not criminal conduct)........well they rated me down to 0.77 Never thought that ... read more

If I could leave negative stars, I would. This company is dedicated to ripping people off, pure and simple. They cull public info to post your personal info on the web (address, phone number, family members, etc.) and - unlike most other companies in this nasty sector - flatly refuse to remove it when asked. Instead, they want you to pay them monthly in order to have some (supposed) control over what they're going to make available about you to anyone on the planet who wants it. This company has a lengthy history of fraud related and deceptive business practices lawsuits, a recent class action suit, as well as law enforcement actions resulting in huge fines and court ordered restitution. Enforcement actions included allegations of spam, hacking and even extortion. This company does not deserve any stars due to scamming myself out of $70. I signed up for the 3 day trial ONLY upon calling after seeing my account had additional funding withdrawn, I called and was treated very badly on the phone by "Ali". She was rude and disrespectful. I have NEVER filed a complaint and would advise NO ONE to sign up. This company is theft and robbed myself and looks as those others.
