My optometrist for nearly 30 years, and his staff, were consistently a pleasure. That experience quickly went south when the business changed to MyEyeDoctor. My last annual eye exam resulted in five...yes 5...returns of new eyeglasses because I simply didn't see clearly with them. Poor quality lenses from their eyeglass laboratory. I was told that all I had was an inflammation on my eyelid which in fact was basal cell skin cancer that has to be removed and eyelid reconstructed! I can't believe that Dr. M******* didn't know or tell me that I should go to an M.D. How many more people will be misdiagnosed?

myeyedr Aberdeen, MD location caused an unjustified experience for my aunt. On Tuesday, 2/21/23 I took my aunt to pick up her glasses. The representative that fitted my aunt for her lenses was very pleasant and admitted to ordering incorrect tint. There was also a concern because my aunt could not see from the lenses that came in for pick up. Ever since my local eye doctor switched to MyEyeDr - the quality of my eyewear (lenses) has been awful, the pricing is inexplicable by the staff (including wrong quotes that result in further billing later), and absolutely deplorable service when speaking with the billing department. I will no longer go to the local eye doctor that I am very happy with (doctor and reception) because if MyEyeDr. I certainly hope that other local doctors offices are not making the switch to this company. I’m a bit baffled, there are two people sitting at reception but you can only make appt online, check if glasses came in online so why the deadweight. The doc in Kingsland seems to rush through diagnosis, I always end up at can’t see out of no.1 and number 2, glasses while somewhat adequate never seem perfect. Only get reading as bifocal not worth the cost for adequate only prescription, Not truly a bad review but seems there could be better

I ordered glasses in November and still February 13 and still no glasses. Very disappointed . I will not go there again.

I had a problem with getting my grandsons glasses in a timely manner, but upper management went out of their way to make sure my grandson received his glasses. I appreciate all the effort that were made on oh my grandsons behalf.

This place is so unprofessional I wasn’t treated right I guess my glasses was never sent back off they kept saying it my insurance I never had a problem before I asked for a refund my glasses supposed to have come back January 18 no glasses they supposed to have been sent off January 3 so it been a whole month these peoples are unorganized I don’t advise no one to deal with them I am so disappointed ??

I first went into the MyEyeDr in ******* ******* **on Dec. 5, 2022 for an eye exam and to get new frames and lenses. As I write this on Feb. 1, 2023 - 58 days later - I still don't have my new lenses. The first pair arrived in about two weeks, but the frames were wrong and the sales rep didn't order it as progressive lenses (so I couldn't read). When I tried them on in mid-December another rep there told me to "give it a month" but it was clear after a couple days that these lenses were not correct. I drove back to the store... read more
