Totally inept, completely wasted 3 months of my time. I've been going to this same doctor office for 6 years but after Goldman Sacs acquired MyEyeDr, the product & service sliped down the toilet where it belongs. I've had glasses for 50 years and have never had a provider fail twice in a row. I wait a month for my glasses to be made (progressives +11.5 - I'm legally blind without them) and when they finally show up, I can't read 20/20 up close (the only reason I need them in the first place). So the doc double checks his wor... read more

Today I picked out a pair of Tiffany glasses that were priced at $430. These were the display glasses and I was told that they would take $55 off due to them being display glasses. My insurance covered $246 and my portion was $128. I googled the price of the glasses and they were $160 online! They straight ripped me OFF! The eyeglasses are even discontinued. That’s how old they are. I need a refund!
Ms Rebecca is a very nice young lady. She took time to explain the different glasses that were on sale. She showed me how much she cared about me as a customer. I brought a pair of glasses today. I thank God for Rebecca
The manager and other office girl , lie and run this place horrible without the doctor even knowing. I have tried to get thru to the doctor to let him know and they said they would charge me a office visit just to deter me or I would have to be getting a eye exam to see him Only. So maybe going this route will help.

My Eye Doctor used to be very good and I always went there for an eye exam. I went to My Eye Doctor in Holly Springs, NC this year and it was bizarre to say the least. First of all, they sent in an Intern to do the exam unsupervised and then the "Doctor" came in and she told me that I need Cataract Surgery. She also said that I could not see with my current glasses because I need the surgery. I wear my glasses when working on the computer every day and when driving. I see just fine thank you! It was so weird. Then she gave m... read more
Purchased a Oakley OX3246 0253 Pewter frame from MyEyeDr. Hi Index 1.67 single vision, roll and polish and anti reflective coating. Cost was $708, $350 upfront with insurance. Checked an online vendor which not only has the same exact make and model frames, but also cuts prescription lenses, including 1.67 hi index with blue light coating and roll and polish. Final checkout price is $235–a $473 difference. And you have the option of next day shipping for a few dollars more. I waited half a month for MyEyeDr to notify me that... read more
My husband is working out of town and broke his glasses. He is without a spare. So I contacted the MyEyeDr on Crain HWY in Waldorf, MD to retrieve his prescription. The first time I was sent some emails with a letter to release his information to include a form for buying glasses from the internet. I only received the information for the PD. So I asked again and was told to retrieve the information from a url link provided. Well, my husband doesn't have any of the old information they are requesting on the internet link. So ... read more
MyEyeDr services are horrible, please choose another eyecare provider and beware of this place! I went to the facility located in Lansing Illinois. I went in for an appointment on February 17, 2022. I called to check on the status of my eyeglasses to see if they were ready for pickup and I was informed that they did not pass inspection whatever that means and to check back by March 31, 2022. I have called several times assuming they may be ready and was told you have called before and I told you by March 31, 2022, no need to... read more
The place is similar to a used car lot. Once your eye exam is done the doctor passes you onto the sales staff in the front, who I am sure gets paid on commission, and they do not take no for an answer. They employ high-pressure sales tactics to fill your prescription and try to upsell you at every turn. My son after repeteadly telling the staff that he wanted to take his prescription to be filled elswhere and that he did not have enough money in his account for $300 + contact lenses was told he had to pay. When his debit car... read more
