I just wanted to let Cienna at RX Optical Ann Arbor know that she went above and beyond for me and my daughter to help facilitate her getting glasses. It means more to me than she will ever know. She was extremely considerate and was very patient with me. She was a rock star and deserves huge kudos!

I went there for my appointment this morning. Was asked if I want to take pictures so my eyes wouldn't be dilated. The charge was 39.99 and because I had another appointment right after I didn't want to have issues not seeing the rest of the day. I also suffer from really bad headaches which some time occur after the drops. The doctor told me because I have a really high prescription is best to dilated my eyes so she can see all of it. I am NOT surprised by the "1.21" average review of "MyEyeDr." One year ago, I paid them $700 for a pair of titanium, tinted, eye glasses. Today, while merely putting them on, the titanium weld broke at the seam connecting the eye lense holder to the nose piece. When I called them, they said there was nothing they could do, and they told me that I didn't have 'insurance'. They never offered me 'insurance' when they sold them to me, and you would think titanium would last longer than a year. Do NOT buy any product from them. T... read more

I was recently at the Rxoptical branch on Lake Mich Drive in Standale I am a senior citizen and had an Optometrist who did not wear gloves during the exam, who was touching my face. He also was going lickety split with changing the lenses during the exam as if to get the exam finished as quickly as possible. I am a senior citizen and had trouble keeping up with his pace. His whole manner was not pleasant. Generally I would ignore the personality but the whole exam was troubling. Will not use your services in the future. The ... read more

DO NOT PURCHASE CONTACT LENSES FROM THIS COMPANY!!! They charged me $330 for a pair of Air Optic Hydroglyde Multifocals. The price for the exact same contact lenses on 1-800-contacts were $182.32. Even worse, they had checked my insurance before sitting down with me (verified on the billing document Davis Vision) and failed to inform me that had I used a brand of contacts approved by my insurer, I would have paid nothing! Terrible, Dr was great and then it stopped. After paying 650.00 for glasses and waited 6 weeks for them, I got handed the glasses. Basically here you go and out the door. No adjustments were made, I can’t see out of them at all. Guess I will have to call another place to fix them. Just disgusted and out a lot of money. There are no refunds! Definitely just want the business and money and when they are done with you, you know it.

My experience certainly is LESS of a Star.................A horror show to put it mildly. I went to the Office in CT on March 4th..............today is April 14th and I still do not have a pair of eye glasses. The 1sr set of glasses was a total disaster and I was advised by the staff that it "could" take up to 5 days for my brain and eyes adjust. Very unprofessional, pickup my glasses, insurance paid for the exam and glasses, I paid to have transitions $160.00. When I went to pick them up the girl tried to adjust them to fit but they still slid down my nose she said she couldn't adjust them any more or they would break, she said to try them for a few days to see if I could get use to them, so I tried, they would not stay in place at all. Called and went back for another adjustment a different girl tried to adjust them same thing so I ask her what can I do, she said I... read more

Seems to be a repeating theme for this Company. Been waiting 3 weeks for 5 pairs of glasses that have already been paid for. One pair had to be reordered two weeks after my original order. I received ZERO contact about this issue until I called about my order. Customer Service is not a something MyEyeDr seems to look for when hiring employees. If you would like to discuss some options on how to please contact me and I can assist you with this CSR problems.
