excellent service I usually don't write reviews but I thought of writing this i been going to muki's African braiding for the past 10 years and i have to say their customers service is very great. The i go there the more I fall in love with their service i there with damage scalp but i have healthy health. I recommend anyone who care about their healthy hair to there and they will never regret it.
Decent work, but inappropriate I took my two young daughters in to get their hair braided (upon recommendation from a neighbor). Their hair was braided professionally, but they did not do child-appropriate styles, as they had promised. The braids they put in were more appropriate for someone in their late teens or early twenties, not for girls under thirteen.
will keep coming back... This year I have been to Mukis African braiding twice. Each time for single braids. The stylists are professional and they listen and provided me with the exact style I asked for. I highly recommend the service. They have tons of pictures and will work with you to make sure you are happy with our style. The key is communication. Make sure you let them know what it is you want and they will provide.
Irritated I went to this braid shop right before Christmas to get micro braids. I brought my own hair & glad to have done that because there was another young lady who didn't & the hair provided was hideous. As for my hair, I paid $200 & gave this woman a tip for braids that were too big. Furthermore, she used nail glue on the braids which did not break it out, but who still uses nail glue to do micro braids! Thank you for making my day!!! I found this shop online and I love their work so I decided to call and make an appointment, the lady on the phone was very pleasant, which gave me more hope to travel such a distance to their shop. I had my hair done in senegalese twist which was my first time getting them but they turned out to be beautiful and many of my coworkers love my hair. I love my braids I love my braids, i came in on christmas eve and got my hair done. The ambience at the shop was very great, they were very friendly and they gave me what i asked for. i saw them online and try to picture just like the one on line some shops claim the styles on their site is their but only to find out it is not. But htis shop every sytle on their site is their actual work in the braiding magazine and once you get there you would see some of those styles in the magazines at their shop, now i am very particular... read more
Disappointed... I came here the Friday before Thanksgiving for fluffy twists...I took them out this past Saturday, so that's 3 weeks BARELY. This was the most disappointing braid style ever!!! First of all, the braids "shed" hair the whole time I had them in and 10 or more braids "slipped" out. $200.00 DOWN THE DRAIN!!! I wouldn't recommend this style and I also question the true skills of the braiders at this salon.
THE BEST BRAIDING SALON OUT THERE!!! I love Muki's Hair Brading, I have been a faithful customer going to Muki and the girls for a little over 2 years. My expectations were always meet and they specialize in almost any hairstyle you can think of. The price is always right and I highly recommend them to anyone who admires my hair, when I leave the shop I know I look the good. Thanks Muki and the girls, you all are the greatest. !
patience is the key i've been going to muki's for some times now. at muki's they're good at what they do, reason why they're always so busy which it's why i always wait to get my hair done. by the way, i do not wait just because i don't have other alternatives, but i do so because i know that at the end i'll get what i came for. we can't blame them for being good and solicited; we just have to be patient.
