This is one of the worst cruises lines. The ship will depart two hours prior embarking. FYI There will be NO courtesy call made to you from the staff inquiring about your arrival. I arrived 1 hour and 30 minutes prior departure and the ship left me and about 18 other people. Refunds are expected to be received within ***** days.

I sailed with MSC on MSC Seaside in Nov. 2023. We also sailed on MSC Seashore in Dec. 2023. Both trips were from *******. Both times we had a smooth and fairly quick embarkation. Both less than 30 minutes total time from entering the cruise port to being onboard. On the Nov. 2023 we had the free drink package, internet, and kids sail free. We have cruised many times. This was our first time with MSC. On the 2nd morning of the cruise, my wife was badly injured when she slipped on a stair while we were walking to the spa. She required medical attention. The medical staff was okay. There was one nurse who was amazing. He used appropriate cleanliness measures and ensured that he was wearing appropriate PPE when assisting my wife. <br /> I purchased the All-inclusive photo package on the first day of our cruise. I was told that I would be able to download all my photos as soon as I get back home. It has been 14 days and I am still unable to get my photos. I spend almost an hour on the phone every day trying to get someone to help. Customer service is horrible. No live person to talk to for post cruise problems. Only via email. I sent multiple emails and I am still waiting for a response. Never cruising with them again. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE<br />

<br /> We did cruise from 12/10/23 to 12/17/23 to Bahamas and Mexico. I paid for Seashore MSC cruise for 3 people. My husband could not go so I called and was told I will be refunded for port entry fee and taxes for his ticket. It’s already March 2024. I am calling, emailing MSC cruise support. they are giving me run around. I understand I will not recover all money I paid for him but it’s not fair for me to have to spend hours on the phone and emails to fight for money that belongs to me. I am very disappointed. We did a cruise between February 10 to February 17/2024(my wife's birthday) with more 2 couples,*** changed without communication, the port and time to arrival and departure, we lost the all day in *******, the food was terrible(microwaves) all our group got a sick and stayed 4 days inside of cabin to recuperation ,we sent an e-mail to Postcruisesupport@msc, to ask for a credit in our next cruise, they sent an e-mail to do apologies and told me No Compensation can be provided, in another words, we paid around $3,100.00 per c... read more

This review is two part:1. The boat was subpar. The food was terrible. 2. I took the cruise in October and had to cancel my brother-in-law cruise because of illness. Since November I have been trying to get back the taxes that my brother-in-law paid and 3 months later they are giving the round around. The customer service is horrendous - they do not answer the emails and when they do - three weeks later - they referred to my cruise which I took and not the refund required for my brother -in-law.

if you book excursions on MSC website, you cannot cancel online. but when you get onboard, they will told you: as the 48 rules you cannot cancel any excursions on day 2 and day 3. ******* about excursions department. they only take money and resell you to local companies.
