Terrible Experience with MSC Cruises Avoid at All Costs!"I am beyond frustrated with MSC Cruises. I was charged FOUR TIMES instead of three for my bookings, totaling an overcharge of $1,120, and after over a week of constant follow-ups, I have received ZERO resolution. On October 25, 2023, we booked a cruise on MSC for 4-26-2025. Since we booked it so long ago, we now have a new great granddaughter getting christened which we would like to attend that week, so I called an asked if a cancellation would result in losing the deposit of $398.00. I was told no, there would not be a problem. I went ahead and cancelled and when I received the cancellation for the booking, they had charged both my husband and me $198.00. Cruise line refuses to even give a cruise voucher or credit for missed port due to several delays and flight cancels during global crowd strike it issue. No flights were available days before the cruise because they were all canceled. Especially delta airlines.

I had to call guest services repeatedly for the room *******. He did not refill soap in the sink, soap in the shower, and toilet tissue, my pillow went missing and he did not bring towels. I got stuck on the toilet with the last bit of toilet tissue, making a bowel movement, and ended up using one of their towels. The hallways smelled foul throughout the cruise. Our cruise was fine until the third or fourth day in. Although the food was still terrible, My mother had a medical emergency so we called emergency. They told us they couldn't do what needed to be done and wanted us off the ship. MSC Cruises ruined our European vacation.First, *** informed us thatcongratulations! Your cruise is now 1 day longer for the same price! ***** now disembark at ****** on Tuesday May 21! Except that we had already booked both non-refundable flights and hotels.We called *** and asked about leaving the ship a day early. I finally tried the Euribia .MSC new fleet.nice ship, well built and nicely decorated. But very disappointed with the service and dining experience. Or I shall said the worst experience I ever had in my cruise trips. Service is lousy. Unorganized and poor arrangements. Not flexible at all. However if you insist and tip them well it's a different story. The food quality is disastrous. Poor quality and presentation. Almost no seafood at all very cheap food selection. I had booked a 4-day cruise for $800, but something came up and I had to cancel. I called customer service 53 days before the departure, which is within the cancellation policy of 51 days before the departure to get a full refund. During the call, I mentioned that I might consider getting credit for a future cruise, but was assured by the representative that I was eligible for a full refund as per the policy.
