We found out about Mr Rooter through an Ad in ***** Magazine, which looked promising as it was a $200 savings. Looking back, we were in a hurry to get our pin hole leak in one of our pipes fixed as it was contributing to a much larger water bill which my wife noticed after a couple months and even after the $200, the price was not great, $2,400 to fix this small hole, granted they had to dig up and excavate our front yard to do the work. Called them about a hot water heater a year ago. They adjusted it and refused to charge me. This time it could not be fixed but they had 2 men doing the work so that we could make a dinner date. Personable and talented staff. I recommend them highly.
Thomas H**** was a great tech. Wish he had a machine to dig the trench, but he dug it by hand and did not complain. He would have been much sooner with some equipment.
Sewage backed up into my yard late on a Friday and I couldn't get one of my trusted plumbers out on a weekend so I bit the bullet and called Mr. Rooter. I got several quotes from other plumbers that said they'd snake my drain for $175. When they showed up they said they needed to video my drain for $375 and then snake it for $250. Those prices are insane so I told them no thanks. Suddenly they started making deals and said they'd "throw in the video" and snake the drain for $314. Once again it's Mr Rooter to the rescue! Huge job this time...front and back yard drains put in and new lower level pit and sump pump installed. The team worked regardless of the rain and did a wonderful job for us. This was not a 1 day job and they were here early every morning for 4 days until it was completed. We had called to get the control valve fixed on our water heater and made the appointment a week in advance. we got a call about 30 minutes before our time window saying no one was going to show up. mind you when we called we said we haven't had hot water for some time, whoever called us my mom explained to her again that we had no hot water and the person calling said oh that's not was told to me, so either your service reps don't listen to customers or they do a very poor job at relaying messages to your service people.
