Not very clear on the fact they removed the fans from the canadian models. wasted my money replacing my old big buddy heater imo. I would have rather paid more for the equivalent model to what I had
Very disappointed that the big buddy no longer comes with the fan! I have had the buddy heater for years, but with a bigger shelter needed the big buddy. But didn’t realize it no longer had the fan until I purchased it!
1st one never worked. 2nd one burst into flames in hunting blind on the 2nd use
I purchased a big buddy. Thought it was awesome until the fan quit working. I have looked everywhere for a replacement. Everywhere says no longer available or discontinued by manufacturer. I was willing to purchase a new unit but they no longer come with the fan. The fan is the reason I purchased it over ot models and heaters. I contacted Mr. Heater and they said they will resolve the problem. So far pleased with the service. I will be waiting to see if they do resolve the problem. Called customer service today an hour before closing time and I was on hold the whole time. Eventually it was 5 o’clock and I got the automated message that they are closed. So far unhappy with customer service. And your foil backed insulation inside your natural gas heaters sucks! The foil is peeling away and blowing all over my garage floor after only 2 weeks.
My friends all have big buddy heaters and all love them. I bought one and it did not have the fan installed. Very disappointed as the box clearly shows pictures of the switch for the fan. Would not have paid what I did for it knowing this now.
