tried to have a new heater buddy repaired and/or replaced to no avail. As a sgt. with the Michigan State Police I know a ton about customer service. So far this company has been little help. Alex the "customer service" manager keeps sending generic messages, even with offering to pay a minimal fee to have it repaired. Brand new, sadly it May be my next boat anchor.
When you combine a great product with phenomenal customer service it's easy to recommend a company to your friends. I use a Portable Buddy heater for ice fishing and it more than handles the job. I was out of town one time and power went out at home and my wife borrowed a Big Buddy heater from her dad and stayed nice and warm bundled up on the couch. Last year I bought 2. When taken out of the box it was noted that the outer case on both were broken. I contacted Mr. Heater and the rep told me they would send me replacements. I never heard from them again and never got my parts.
April and we are still running our 75000 btu heaters to take the chill of the job site. Mr heaters worth their weight in gold and the customer service is second to none. Very pleased!
My BOSS (camp shower) sprung an internal leak and these guys were able to get the issue resolved very quickly and I couldn’t be happier with their customer service. My friends and I all have quite a few of the Mr. heater products ranging from the Little buddy and Mr. buddy, portable heater and other accessories such as the propane tree that we use for camp stoves and lanterns. We have all had great luck and results on our hunting trips and camping trips and will continue to be happy customers. Thanks guys!!!
I RECD a Mr. Heater MR 40NG - I hired a contractor to install the thermostat and heater - the product was missing the wire so paid the contractor to pick it up and install. Then hired a gas installer to run the line. Unfortunately the pilot light won't stay lit (appears the safety valve won't open) so - here I am - having invested over $1400 in this heater and still don't have a working heater! Buddy-Heater: Darn thing stopped working after two uses. Very frustrated. I want a replacement.
I have two Mr heaters and I love them. But what I wanted to say is that the customer service I got from Brian Moten, one of the staff, was above a beyond the regular customer service you get from a large company.Thanks Brian
